How to handle “how much?” enquiries

By Growth Partner Venture · Published · 2 min read

When someone only asks “how much?”, answer respectfully, explain what affects the price and ask one or two questions about their project. Offer an honest range only if you can, then invite them to a consultation.

Why buyers ask price first

Many buyers do not know what to ask yet, so price is the easiest question. It does not always mean they only care about price.

A helpful reply

  • Thank them and acknowledge the question
  • Explain two or three factors that change the price
  • Ask about their space and timeline
  • Offer a site visit or consultation for an accurate quote

Share proof

Send a relevant project or video so they see what the price includes.

Know when to let go

Some buyers only want the lowest price. Qualify politely and spend your time on people who value what you deliver.
