A simple funnel from video view to booked appointment
A simple funnel has five steps: a video that gets attention, a page or chat that explains the offer, a few qualifying questions, a booked appointment and follow-up for those not ready yet. Each step should lead clearly to the next.
The five steps
- Attention: a short video or portfolio post
- Interest: a landing page or chatbot explaining the offer
- Qualification: budget, property and timeline
- Appointment: showroom, office or site visit
- Follow-up: helpful content and reminders
Where funnels break
Most funnels leak between steps: slow replies, unclear next steps, or no follow-up. Fixing those gaps often matters more than more traffic.
Keep one owner per step
Decide who replies, who books and who follows up. A clear owner prevents enquiries falling through the cracks.
Review regularly
Look at where people stop and improve that step first.
Questions about this topic
Do I need paid ads for a funnel?
Ads can add reach, but the same funnel works with organic posts and referrals.
How fast should replies be?
As fast as you can manage consistently. High-ticket buyers often contact several companies.
